Statement

"Y-Junction 1962" is a historical project to introduce the history of Lo-Sheng and the life stories of residents there who were separated from the society because state policy. We created a website and a computer game about Lo-Sheng and its residents through which we also want to bring up the issue of the preservation of Lo-Sheng today.

"History, the Public, and the Market" is a course at National Taiwan University created by Professor Yuen-Gen Liang. In this course, students get a chance to work on and present their historical project to the public. Through this process, the students can also learn the value of historical practice in the market. "Y-Junction 1962" is a result of this course, and we are looking forward to seeing other outstanding projects.
